Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Roots Ventures OS ("the Service"), a private operations tool provided by Ekalon Solutions ("we", "us") for Roots Ventures Lp. By signing in, you agree to these terms.

Who may use the Service

The Service is an internal tool. Access is limited to personnel of Roots Ventures Lp and users specifically authorised by Ekalon Solutions. Accounts are personal — do not share your session or attempt to access another person's data.

Your Google account

The Service works by connecting to your Google Workspace account with read-only permissions, subject to Google's own terms of service. You may disconnect at any time inside the Service or from your Google account settings; some features stop working without the connection.

Acceptable use

Use the Service only for the fund's legitimate business. Do not attempt to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, and do not use it to violate any law or third-party right.

AI-generated content

Summaries, extracted metrics, suggested actions and draft replies are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. They are decision support, not advice — review them before acting or sending anything based on them.

Confidentiality

Content visible in the Service — dealflow, portfolio and LP information — is confidential fund information. Treat it according to your obligations to Roots Ventures Lp.

Availability and warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ekalon Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or revoke access at any time, including at the request of Roots Ventures Lp. Sections on confidentiality and liability survive termination.

Governing law and contact
